Rabbi Binyomin Sloviter comes to us from Atlanta, GA, where he was the Rabbinic Fellow in Congregation Beth Jacob, working under the close direction of Rabbi Ilan D. Feldman. During their time at Beth Jacob, the Sloviters enjoyed many close relationships, with younger and older families alike. Both Rabbi and Mrs. Sloviter were engaged in hosting Shabbos meals, programs for children and adults, and numerous shiurim and lectures.
Before his position in Beth Jacob, Rabbi Sloviter worked for the Atlanta Scholars Kollel. His main focus while in the Kollel, was to help build meaningful relationships with the many young families that had moved to Atlanta. Rabbi Sloviter spent his years studying in Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore, MD. While he was receiving his Rabbinic ordination, he was a Rabbinic Intern at Congregation Bnei Jacob Shaarei Zion in Baltimore, MD, under the tutelage of Rabbi Moshe Hauer.
Over the course of his years in the Rabbinate, Rabbi Sloviter has specialized and taken extensive training in Taharas Hamishpacha, Kashrus, Shabbos, and pastoral counseling. Additionally, he is concluding a Masters in Marital and Family Therapy at Touro University this August. Rabbi Sloviter is passionate and enthusiastic about learning and teaching, making meaningful relationships, and becoming a solid support for our community’s growth.
